Performance & Specs
Grip control
Grip Control is an additional X-Mode feature which delivers superior grip to help prevent wheel slipping. This function works to maintain a constant low speed of approximately 2 – 10 km/hr, with increments of 2 km/hr, to prevent slipping when travelling uphill, on flat roads or when traversing rough roads.
Low centre of gravity
The Subaru Solterra boasts a low centre of gravity with the central positioning of the main drive battery, under the floor between the front and rear wheels. This gives Subaru Solterra impressive balance and handling; however this has not been achieved at the cost of its ground clearance5.
Symmetrical All Wheel Drive
The aim of the Subaru Solterra’s design is to distribute the vehicle’s weight as evenly as possible across all four tyres, for the greatest total balance. As a result of the symmetrical drive train design, vehicle grip is maximised, giving the driver optimum control.
Human-centred design
Putting the human factor centre stage, Subaru Solterra has been designed for a seamless, comfortable and enjoyable driving experience. Designed from the perspective of the driver, the cockpit layout puts everything within optimal sight and reach. From the smaller, more compact steering wheel, to the top mounted, 7" multi-information digital display. Positioned just below the driver’s line of sight, with a view to the road ahead, the digital display provides instant access to essential vehicle information, while reducing eye movement fatigue.
Aerodynamic Design
With its dynamic front end, striking alloy wheels and bold shape, the all-new Subaru Solterra is designed in harmony with the unique Australian landscape. The rugged, yet aerodynamic body, reflects its All-Wheel Drive capability and carefully curated EV performance. The streamlined body controls airflow to help maximise aerodynamic efficiency.

The large, stylish glass roof floods the spacious cabin with light to enhance every journey.
Sporty Steering
The cosy, front seat heaters and the heated steering wheel are all automatically controlled for your comfort, according to the temperature of the air conditioning system.

Subaru Solterra's great looks are complemented by the striking 18" alloy wheels, with wheel caps and distinctive 20" alloy wheels on the Subaru Solterra AWD Touring variant.

Tailored seating comfort
The 8-way power driver's seat ensures personalised comfort, with Subaru Solterra AWD Touring extending the 8-way power function to the passenger seat and including a dual memory function to record the preferences of the driver13. The adjustment range for the front power seats includes tilt, recline and lift functions enhancing occupant comfort, while the front and rear outbound seats are also heated.

Elegantly understated, the interior of Subaru Solterra reflects its contemporary and luxurious aesthetic with premium black cloth upholstery, whilst the Subaru Solterra AWD Touring features sumptuous black synthetic leather with textured inserts.

Effortless charging
For seamless in-car charging, the Wireless Qi9 charging pad in the Subaru Solterra AWD Touring variant is the ultimate in ease. For extra convenience, there are USB C ports in the front and rear back seats to charge your devices.
Harman Kardon® speakers
The premium Harmon Kardon® sound system, available on the Solterra Touring, features 10 speakers, subwoofer and amplifier for dynamic and clear sound.11
Steering wheel switches
The intuitive and easy-to-use steering wheel switches place the most important and regularly used functions, closest to the driver’s hands. The driving assist features are positioned top right of the steering wheel – while infotainment, phone functions and the 4-way display/select button are positioned top left, with audio functions below.
Subaru Safety Sense
Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC)
Using millimetre wave radar this function keeps the vehicle at a constant pre-set distance from the vehicle in front, based on the preceding vehicle’s speed and within your pre-set distance selection.
Pre-Collision System (PCS)
This system combines millimetre wave radar, with a monocular camera sensor, to help recognise and warn of potentially dangerous situations and to support the driver when required via the Pre-collision Warning (PCW), Pre-collision Brake Assist (PBA), and Pre-collision Braking (PB) functions.
Road Sign Assist (RSA)
The camera can recognise speed signs and assists the driver by displaying the detected speed limit on the instrument panel, and by also showing a visual warning if the speed limit is exceeded.
Subaru's Driver Monitoring System
Subaru’s Driver Monitoring System – Driver Focus (DMS)6 constantly monitors the driver’s attention to help reduce the chance of accidents due to driver distraction and fatigue. The system uses near infrared LEDs and a camera to recognise when the driver’s attention is waning or if they start to fall asleep. An alert can then warn the driver, reminding them to refocus on the road ahead.
Distraction warning
Subaru DMS6 recognises that at times the driver may be distracted, which is why a buzzer alert and visual display will warn the driver if their gaze continues to wander outside a set range.
Dozing or drowsiness warning
The DMS6 uses near infrared LEDs and a camera to observe the driver’s eyes and recognise when their attention is waning or if they start to fall to sleep. An alert can warn them and give a gentle reminder to refocus on the road ahead or take a break if necessary.
- The 5 Year Service Plan is applicable to Subaru Solterra models. The recommended scheduled service interval for Subaru Solterra models is every 12 months or 15,000 kilometres, whichever occurs first. Conditions Apply: Service Plan covers Scheduled Services A to E as set out in the vehicle’s Warranty and Service Handbook. - The Driver Monitoring System (DMS) features for Solterra are distraction warning and drowsiness warning. DMS performance and capability is dependent on environmental and technical conditions. Refer to Owner's Manual for full details.
- The Advanced Park Assist system is designed to support the driver but has limitations in recognition accuracy and control performance. It is the driver's responsibility to remain aware of the vehicle's surroundings, including pedestrians and other vehicles, and drive safely. For more information, please consult the Owner's Manual.
